All Team Rival Rewards in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, players won’t need to differentiate between rival and ally, as it is every character for themselves on the racetrack. However, there may be a need to form some temporary alliances and work as a single unit in some game modes, particularly for those players who venture into the game’s Race Park.

A unique feature to CrossWorlds is the Rival mechanic, which pits players against another racer, giving you a secondary objective to fulfill in ensuring you not only win the race, but also perform better than the rival. This is done on an individual basis in Grand Prix mode, but expands to full rival teams in the Race Park. There are plenty of additional cars and bonuses up for grabs, so players diving into the Race Park modes may benefit from knowing in advance all Team Rival rewards in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

What Are Team Rivals in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds?

In addition to the numerous Grand Prix and online racing modes you can participate in, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds also includes a Race Park mode, which features a host of alternative racing types. These races are more challenging, as some require you to race in a team and complete bonus objectives, such as collecting as many gold rings as possible, in addition to trying to win the race by crossing the finish line first.

In four of these modes, points are decided by the final position of each team’s racers, with bonus points being given to the team that completes the bonus objective the most times. The other two modes skip the team component, allowing players to jump into a quick race, or a hardcore version that only gives out the most devastating items on the track.

With team racing being a focal point for Race Park, CrossWorlds mimics the Rivals component of the games Grand Prix by giving players the option to compete against a rival team. These Rival Teams will go head-to-head, with players needing to win any of the team modes three times to progress. Teams are made up of members of the roster, both heroes and villains, all of whom have a darker skin design and drive the car that is up for grabs to the victor.

All Rival Teams

There are a total of eight teams to conquer, which players must beat three times in any of the available game modes in order to proceed to the next stage in the gauntlet. The eight teams are as follows:

  • Team Sonic — Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles
  • Team Rose — Amy, Cream & Cheese, and Big
  • Team Dark — Shadow, Rouge, and Omega
  • Team Chaotix — Vector, Espio, and Charmy
  • Team Eggman — Dr. Eggman, Sage, Metal Sonic, and Egg Pawn
  • Team Dimensions — Blaze and Silver
  • Team Deadly Six — Zazz and Zavok
  • Team Babylon Rogues — Jet, Wave, and Storm

All Team Rival Rewards in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

As players defeat each team three times in any of the six race modes (and one custom mode option), they will be granted rewards for their efforts. What is not clear from the beginning, however, is upon completing the gauntlet, you will be prompted to challenge each team all over again for the ultimate prize. Below are the rewards you earn for besting each team, for both the first and second time challenging them in the Race Park:
